🫑 1 green bell pepper, sliced
🥩 4 portions (3.5 oz each) Great Value Seasoned Sirloin Philly Steak
🧀 4 slices American cheese
🧀 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

🍶 Dipping sauce of choice (optional)

Instructions

1- Prepare the Veggies:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic, sliced onions, and sliced green bell peppers to the skillet.
  • Stir occasionally, cooking the vegetables until they are slightly softened.

2- Cook the Steak:

  • Add the frozen sirloin Philly steak portions to the skillet with the vegetables.
  • Cover with a lid to allow the steak to thaw and cook through. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the steak is thoroughly cooked, remove the lid.

3- Add the Cheese:

  • Layer slices of American cheese over the cooked steak and vegetables.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover the skillet again until the cheese melts and becomes gooey.

4- Assemble the Quesadillas:

  • In a separate skillet, add a small amount of oil.
  • Place a flour tortilla in the skillet.
  • Spoon half of the cheesesteak mixture onto one side of the tortilla.
  • Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese over the top of the filling.
  • Fold the tortilla in half to create a quesadilla.

5- Cook the Quesadillas:

  • Press down on the quesadilla with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
  • Cook until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy on both sides, flipping as necessary.

6- Serve:

  • Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and cut into wedges.
